Ramos Pinto Tawny Port 750ml

In 1976, Ramos Pinto began a detailed and ongoing research project to select the best grape varieties for the production of quality Port. Five varietals selected by Ramos Pinto were subsequently adopted by the Authorities for all new plantings in the region: Touriga Nacional, Touriga Francesa, Tinta Barroca, Tinta Roriz and Tinto Cao.

APPEARANCE
Brick red colour with a tawny patina.
AROMA
Scents of fresh fruit (grapes and cherries) are enriched by the aroma of dried fruit and toast from the maturation in small wooden casks referred to as "pipes".
PALATE
The wine displays a fine balance of youth and maturity. Fresh fruit flavours covering the whole gamut, ( grapes, cherries, plums, blackberries and raspberries), combine harmoniously with the spirit to create an impression of mellow lightness.
