In 1861, Tintara was founded by Dr Alexander Kelly, one of the pioneers of the South Australian wine industry. Then in 1876, a young Thomas Hardy purchased Tintara as he recognised the potential that lay within the unique soils of McLaren Vale and made it his mission to create wines that were a true expression of this remarkable region. Tintara is still the home of Hardys and remains a testament to quality winemaking, combining age-old methods and new technology.
The Tintara McLaren Vale Cabernet Sauvignon displays abundant blackcurrant and fine spice aromas. The palate has great depth of flavour and a long classical Cabernet finish.
