This single malt Scotch whisky, Arboralis, possesses a bright, golden hue and is aged in ex-Bourbon and Spanish Sherry oak casks, positioned beneath the tall, ancient trees found in the Victorian gardens of The Glen Grant distillery. Our golden liquid offers a soft scent of fruit and honey, and is carefully matured until it achieves its characteristic complex elegance, a trait for which The Glen Grant has been revered for over 180 years. On the palate, Arboralis conveys creamy toffee and ripe pear notes, culminating in a long, satisfying hint of delicate spice.

With an ingenious mind and charismatic personality, James ‘The Major’ Grant, personally designed innovative tall slender pot stills with unique water-cooling purifiers to achieve his vision of a seductively smooth, fruity, rich, superior single malt.

The Major was one of the first distillers in Scotland to introduce purifiers into the distillation process, further refining our whisky by ensuring only the very finest vapours condense into spirit. The result is an elegant and aromatic style of whisky for which The Glen Grant is renowned.
